METHODS of  PAYMENT:       Paypal is my preferred method of payment; however, major credit cards, money orders, and personal checks are also accepted. Please note that personal checks will be held for 10 days until they clear, after which purchased will be shipped.

PRICES:      Prices for non-commissioned art are as indicated on the website (plus applicable sales taxes, shipping, handling and insurance charges). A final price can be provided for any unsold art work upon request.

 

Prices for commissioned portraits start at $1000 ( plus applicable sales taxes, shipping/handling fees, insurance, etc.) for a head and shoulders pose with astract background. Additional persons in the portrait, detailed backgrounds, and larger sized canvases or requested changes after commencement of work will add to the base cost of the painting. If the portrait commission is canceled after the painting has been started, the deposit (less material cost) will be refunded. Commissioned pieces require a 50% deposit, payable in advance of commencing work on the painting. All details for contract work are covered in a Commission Contract which is available upon request.

Prices for commissioned,  non-portrait pieces vary with the subject matter, size, and materials, etc.

METHODS and MATERIALS:    Commissioned portraits are painted from photographs using Old Holland brand and Sennelier oil paints (used by Cezanne and Van Gogh), on Belgian linen, and mounted on heavy-duty stretchers. Unless otherwise specified, all portraits are unframed.
